This is the website for the Center for Citizen Media, a new initiative aimed at helping to enable and encourage grassroots media, especially citizen journalism, at every level.

The nonprofit Center is jointly affiliated with the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism & Mass Communication at Arizona State University and the Berkman Center for Internet & Society at Harvard University Law School.

The center's founder and director is Dan Gillmor, author of We the Media: Grassroots Journalism by the People, for the People (2004, O'Reilly Media).
